Jason Aldean and the boys rolled into London, Ont. at the Budweiser Gardens Saturday night and put on one hell of a show! Joined by special guests Thousand Horses and Thomas Rhett who did not disappoint the energetic party full house crowd.
Thousand Horses took the stage first and kicked things off with their hit single Smoke. The band was full of energy and you could tell they were feeding off of the crowds energy and enthusiasm. They put on a great set and got things going in there for us.
The party didn’t stop between sets as DJ Silver kept the crowd entertained and bumpin’ mixing up new and old hits on his turntables.
Next up Thomas Rhett took the stage and the crowds energy grew even more dancing and singing along to Rhett’s many hits. I have seen Thomas Rhett perform before and I was so excited to hear he was joining Aldean’s tour and sure enough I was not disappointed! His performance exuded so much energy and his on stage presence is phenomenal. He dances around that stage like nobody’s business and I absolutely loved when he took over on the drums! Man he can rock a drum solo! He slowed things down to the song he wrote for his wife Die A Happy Man and he swooned the crowd as everyone swayed and sang along. One of the loudest crowds I have ever heard sing along to an artist’s song was this crowd to Rhett’s newest hit song T-shirt. I thought the roof was gonna blow right open for how loud it got in there! He is such an exciting entertainer and if you have never seen him live he was one you definitely have to checkout!
Jason Aldean and the boys took the stage to Just Getting Started and did they ever fire things up. The already pumped up crowd grew that much more rowdy when Aldean took the stage and sang hit after hit. I have seen Aldean now a few times and he brings such a party to a ready to rock crowd to his countless hits and this time again was no different. There is a reason why Aldean has won entertainer of the year and that’s because he definitely knows how to entertain, captivate and rock a crowd. We took a ride on the Big Green Tractor, we took a flight to Fly Over States and we even visited 1994. All the country girls got down to one of my favourites She’s Country and we continued to get down to a another favourite Hick Town. Aldean and the boys blew it up to their latest hit single Lights Come On and they rocked the stage! Aldean and the boys left a lot of Tattoos On This Town and it was definitely My Kinda Party!!!! Thanks Aldean for rockin it!!!
I would just like to mention, to quote Dallas Smith, “We were living it up in the cheap seats” and still had a great time!!! 🙂
