Interview with Madeline Merlo

CM: Madeline, thank you so much for taking the time to do an interview with me. It’s an exciting time of year as music festival season is about to kick off! In particular, how excited are you to make your first appearance at CBMF?

MM: I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of CBMF this year. Total bucket list moment for me and an opportunity to see one of the most beautiful places in the world.

CM: What are you looking forward to most about playing the festival?

MM: I haven’t had much of a chance to connect with a lot of my fans out there. So really looking forward to meeting some of them and hopefully making some new ones as well!

CM: You will be sharing the stage with some other amazing talented artists, who are you looking forward to sharing the stage with the most?

MM: Really looking forward to Little Big Town, have always wanted to see them live!

CM: As the festival season is fast approaching, are band rehearsals underway for you? If so, how are they going?

MM: I just wrapped up the Beautiful Freakshow Tour with Dean Brody so that was a great opportunity to get super tight and in the groove for festival season. My boys and I couldn’t be more excited to play!

CM: What can fans expect from your show?

MM: Lots of energy and some brand new music. 

CM: Congratulations on your latest single How To Get The Girl with Black Jack Billy! What was it like recording the song with them?

MM: It was so wonderful. I love those guys and it was such a honour to have been featured on one of their songs! It was such a blast recording it too!

CM: Will there be any other new music coming soon?

MM: Yes. Sitting on lots of new music right now and stuff that I think is my best yet. I have grown up so much since I started my first record and I am really excited to show this new side of me.

CM: I have seen you perform now a few times, including BH last year and if your performance at CBMF is anything like BH your fans will sure be in for a great show!
