Jojo Mason The Hug Life Tour

We were so fortunate to be able to take in a show on Jojo Mason’s The Hug Life Tour on the west coast! The tour included The Sons Of Daughters and Eric Ethridge and we were truly excited to catch all three acts, it was definitely a triple threat! We completely lucked out with timing a family road trip after the CCMA awards, that took us all the way out to Victoria BC, where we got to catch the final show of the tour at the Districkt nightclub.

The Sons of Daughters who are also from BC, played their hometown show the night before in Vancouver. They said “It was an amazing night, pure magic!” It was awesome to see them on Jojo’s tour and they did a great job warming up the room for him!

It was incredible to see Eric Ethridge on the tour and even more incredible to see him on the west coast! This was Eric’s first time playing the west coast and we were so happy to be there for that milestone. I remember chatting with him last year and he shared that one of his goals was to get out across our country to play! He also brought his full band along and these guys rocked the club! They have an awesome set put together and deliver it with such passion and energy! The crowd was no different to me then if they had been playing in Ontario, as everyone was singing right along! Congrats Eric we sincerely are so happy for you!

The man of the hour Jojo Mason took the stage full of energy and didn’t stop to the very last note. It was pretty awesome to see him out on his very first headlining tour! Especially in Victoria, BC! He had a lot of friends in the crowd and they eagerly cheered him on, it was such a fun and electric crowd! It was also very exciting for Jojo to share that his latest single Better On You hit #3 on the Billboard & media based charts and #1 on the Canadian charts! Big congratulations and please keep making killer tunes and putting on awesome shows, what a performer! Already looking forward till the next time we see him, maybe bringing the Hug Life Tour to our neck of the woods?!?!
