Last month three days before my birthday and I won tickets to see Gord Bamford at the Flato theatre in Markham, ON. It was such a nice early birthday gift and one amazing night. It was such an intimate setting, Gord mentioned a few times “it was like having a kitchen party”. It was such a cool little theatre.
Up and coming west coast artist Jess Mast, who Gord is promoting, took the stage first. Jess strummed away for us just him and his guitar and he shined under a spot light. He played his up and coming single release for Bad Blood and looking forward to hearing it on country radio.
Mr. Bamford from the moment he took the stage had me dancing in my seat. He sang the old, the new and all the favourites we know and love. He shared a very special moment on stage with us when he invited his dad, from Australia (and for those that don’t know, Gord is from Australia) out on stage for the the very first time ever.
Mr.Bamford had us entertained all night, with his incredible talent, from his powerful voice, sharing his stories, right down to his humour. If you haven’t had a chance to see Gord Bamford live, I highly recommend catching him on is upcoming Certified Country Tour with Joe Nichols. Looking forward to catching him again in Oshawa at the GM Centre in May.
